Pawel Wiacek is a highly gifted therapist with extensive training and experience in bodywork and energy healing. Pawel has been involved in complementary therapies since 2004. Following a severe shoulder injury and a long period of rehabilitation, which led to an abrupt stop to his basketball training, he developed an interest in massage and healing.
His journey commenced with Polynesian (Lomi Lomi) style massage training and Reiki. Since then he explored and studied aromatherapy, reflexology, the metamorphic technique, shefa healing, access bars, theta healing, holistic massage, yoga, chi gong, deep tissue massage, trigger point massage, advanced massage, direct and indirect myofascial release, thai abdominal massage, dorn method, moving stretch, somatic movement coaching (hanna somatics ), visceral manipulation, tension and trauma releasing exercises, craniosacral therapy and bowen technique.
As a result of his training and experience, he chose to pursue an energetic approach that is deeply rooted in the body. He has created an approach to bodywork that is grounded in anatomy and physiology but also acknowledges the subtle energetic , mental and emotional bodies. The term Yin yang bodywork describes best this approach. At times it can be intensely physical and at times almost ethereal and energetic thus accessing different levels of one’s being.
Out of all the therapies that Pawel explored, he decided to practice the one’s that worked for him and also brought the best results for his clients. Thus in The Yin Yang Bodyworks , myofascial release and deep tissue bodywork, craniosacral therapy and bowen technique can be used depending on what the client presents with. This allows him to work not just with superficial tensions but deep into the matrix of stress facilitating release and promoting health within the bodymind complex.
Pawel will often use somatic movement exercises and TRE to empower his clients and give them tools to do things at home that build on the 1 to 1 sessions and speedy the recovery to better health.
To his sessions, Pawel brings his expansive training in complementary therapies, well-honed intuition, his gentle compassionate presence, nearly a decade of self-inquiry through meditation, chi gong, breathwork, dance, shamanic practises, development groups, body/ mind therapies and family constellation work.
Pawel’s passion for learning in the field drives him to continuously explore new approaches for enhancing wellbeing and he is constantly learning from the best teachers in the field of health and bodywork.
